In the mid-1990s, Mitsubishi Warehouse California Corp., already engaged in warehousing, started a repair service for IT-related equipment in response to a customer request. This service was soon extended to meet the needs of numerous large manufacturers of home electronics. Mitsubishi Warehouse California Corp. has since expanded service functions by installing a work line in a facility of approximately 19,000 m2 and hiring many skilled engineers. The repair service has now become one of the main businesses of Mitsubishi Warehouse California Corp. The center is able to provide comprehensive repair center services for LCD monitors and projectors through systemizing parts management, for over a thousand types of parts, work progress management, and inventory / delivery management, while integrating their accumulated storage / packing / delivery know-how.
