Shenzhen Lingyang Global Forwarding Co., Ltd., our overseas subsidiary in China, has obtained a license issued by China Air Transport Association (CATA) to operate an air transportation sales agency service.

Shenzhen Lingyang Global Forwarding Co., Ltd. (Lingyang), established by utilizing CEPA* system through Mitsubishi Logistics Hong Kong Ltd. in May 2005, obtained a license to operate an air transportation sales agency service by CATA on July 24, 2009.


Acquisition of this license enables Lingyang to purchase space directly from various air carriers and to load a consolidated cargo on its own.
Lingyang is expanding its service menu as a fully-owned Mitsubishi Logistics Group air forwarder to consistently provide high-quality logistics services to more and more companies developing business within China.

Future Expansions for Lingyang

  • Lingyang will expand business by increasing export service capacity to Japan, Europe and the U.S.A. in areas such as information-related equipments and automotive parts, for which export quantities are expected to grow exponentially along with the rapid sophistication of industries within China in the near future.
  • Lingyang aims to meet the full range of customer logistics needs by expanding business into East and North China through enhancing its own branch network, by capitalizing on strengths of other subsidiaries providing warehousing, transportation and forwarding services within China.
  • Lingyang will continue to provide high-quality air transportation services contribute to the supply chain management (SCM) of our customers through integrated coordination and cooperation with Mitsubishi Logistics networks in the U.S.A., Europe and Southeast Asia.
  • *CEPA = Closer Economic Partnership Agreement
    The Closer Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was signed on June 29, 2003, between the Chinese Central Government and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and went into effect as of January 1, 2004. The CEPA allows Hong Kong-based companies to establish fully owned subsidiaries in Mainland China in the field of logistics services.
