Mitsubishi Logistics Announces Participation in Its First Logistics Real Estate Development Projects in the United States

Mitsubishi Logistics Corporation (the “Company”) today announced that, through its U.S. subsidiary, Mitsubishi Logistics America Corporation, it will participate in logistics real estate development projects in the Charlotte metropolitan area of North Carolina and the Houston metropolitan area of Texas together with local development partners.
Both metropolitan areas are among the fastest-growing regions in the United States in terms of population and economic activity and are expected to see strong demand for logistics facilities. Against this backdrop, the projects will involve the development of modern logistics facilities to meet growing demand.

Through its logistics division, Portman Industrial, the company has developed more than 10 million square feet of logistics facilities in major metropolitan areas across the United States. |
The Mitsubishi Logistics Group has operated logistics businesses in overseas markets for many years, cultivating a deep understanding of local markets, extensive logistics networks, and strong relationships with customers and business partners. In 2025, the Group launched its first overseas logistics real estate development project in Thailand by leveraging the expertise of Mitsubishi Warehouse (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
For the projects announced today, the Company will combine the business platform of Mitsubishi Logistics America Corporation, developed through its logistics operations in the United States, with the real estate expertise cultivated through its domestic real estate business in Japan. Through this initiative, the Company will undertake its first logistics real estate development projects in the United States.
The Mitsubishi Logistics Group will continue to maximize the synergies between its logistics and real estate businesses, pursue sustainable growth, and enhance corporate value by expanding its overseas real estate business and promoting a business model focused on asset turnover and capital efficiency.
